The Gardens @ Mid Valley City


The Gardens (also known in full as The Gardens at Mid Valley City) is a mixed development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the second phase of Mid Valley City, which also houses the Mid Valley Megamall. The Gardens is a 9.7-acre (39,000 m2) development which contains a high-end shopping centre and four towers, the first housing a 6-star hotel, the second are housing residential suites and the remaining two housing office spaces.
The shopping centre was opened on September 28, 2007. High end stores are located in the Retail Gallery. Anchor tenants include Robinson and Isetan. It also features avant garde shops such as LotusArte which appeals to artlovers of exquisite taste. Exclusive fine dining are located at the Roof Garden. As of October 2007, parts of the shopping complex are still under construction.
Louis Vuitton, Coach, Kate Spade, Ted Baker, Karen Millen and Hugo Boss are among the tenants of this upmarket mall. Other brands include Club Monaco, Lacoste,Nine West, Banana Republic, Esprit, Aldo, Armani Exchange, Massimo Dutti, Gap, Guess, Miss Sixty, and BCBG Maxazria. The Gardens is connected to its adjacent mall, Mid Valley Megamall via an underground passage which houses the newly opened lunch venue Spaghetti Grill whose famous patrons include local celebrities Nigel Gan and Justin Raymond. However, the famous duo have since been disbanded. In a recent interview, the two have stated that future collaborations might be possible.
In addition to that, there is a Cold Storage supermarket which offers a wide range of groceries situated at the Lower Ground Level and a Golden Screen Cinemas movie theatre named "GSC Signature" located on the fourth floor. As a whole, there are six floors in the retail podium, including the lower ground floor.
