Prangin Mall

Prangin Mall is a shopping centre in George Town, Penang. Named after Prangin Road, also known as Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leong, Prangin Mall opened for business in the 2001. It caters to a market ranging from lower to middle class. The mall comprises six levels including a basement floor, two levels of basement parking and a further three levels of parking at the upper floors.

Unlike BJ Kompleks, Midlands One Stop and neigbouring Komtar, Prangin Mall managed to retain a customer base due largely to its high concentration of low-priced outlets. Its anchor tenant is Parkson Grand, which fought a successful bid to occupy the mall against the now defunct Super Department Store. Other major tenants include Popular Bookstore, Giant Supermarket and Cathay Cineplex. In addition are outlets by Starbucks, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Sushi King, Watson, Guardian, Giordano, SUB, Body Glove, Baleno, Takashima, PDI and Padini.
